Red-Light Therapy.
What is it all about?
How it Helps
The main applications of red-light therapy include reducing pain and inflammation, supporting tissue repair, and promoting regeneration of muscles, connective tissue, and nerves. It can also help protect tissue in situations where strain, overuse, or irritation are likely to occur.
The Red Light Mat
I use a flexible red-light therapy mat that’s large enough to cover the entire back. It can also be placed on other focused areas that need attention—such as the neck and shoulders, hips, knees, or other joints and muscle groups experiencing pain or tightness.
What to Expect
Red-light therapy is either a 20-minute, stand-alone service, or a 15-minute add on before your massage. You’ll rest comfortably while the pad is positioned over the area we’re treating. You may feel gentle warmth, but there is no pain, pressure, or deep manipulation involved.
Is it Right for Me?
Red-light therapy may be supportive if you’re dealing with localized muscle or joint pain, chronic tension or inflammation, recovery from strain or overuse, or general stiffness that limits comfort or movement.
